Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair will return to the wrestling circuit at Starrcast V, but that’s not the only event he’ll be a part of during the Starrcast V festivities. It’s now been revealed that on Friday, July 29, Flair will be in the hot seat for The Roast of Ric Flair. Roasting Flair will be a bunch of some dear friends and a bunch of talented comedians, and if you want to watch it live you can at the Nashville Fairgrounds, although you can also watch it all over the world on FITE. In the ad trailer (which you can see in the video above), Flair says “What are they going to say. Wow! I’m the guy. I’m the trash king. You say what you want to say. Just remember at the end of the night after all that’s been said and done, I’ll talk about you! Wow!” “
We hope to learn who will be attending Roast of Ric Flair soon. Flair will also advance to the ring, but as of now we’re not sure who he’ll team up with or face in that match. We know that previous reports said that Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and their partner will be competing for Flair and FTR in the match, but none of that has been officially revealed or confirmed. We know that Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat said he turned down an offer to be a part of that match, so it’s likely that he’ll partner with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express at some point.
